A strong leader must be an effective communicator. In a supportive learning-by-doing environment, Toastmasters helps Monroe College alumni build skills to express themselves in a variety of situations, from giving better work presentations, participating in (and leading!) meetings more confidently, to being more persuasive when pitching clients, even improving communications with family, friends and colleagues. Learning to effectively formulate, organize and express your ideas is a cornerstone of a personal and professional success.

Toastmasters members learn to tell their story. There are more than 290,000 members such members in more than 14,000 clubs across 122 countries.

Monroe's Toastmasters Club meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm in Milavec Hall, 370 Main St, Room 112 on the New Rochelle campus.
